FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENT AND OFFICE POLICY
Payment System
A payment for a service is expected at the time the service is provided. If treatment requires multiple appointments, payment may be divided over the number of appointments. Cash, personal and manager's checks, as well as major credit cards are accepted. For treatment plans over P10,000.00, a 5% courtesy will be extended for a full cash (or check) payment in advance. If an extended payment plan is desired, please ask us about our third party financing program. A 5% senior citizen discount is also offered, but cannot be combined with the 5% full cash and other promo and discount programs.
Patient Registration, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
To become a registered patient of Dental First starts by filling out our "Patient Information Sheet" prior to the commencement of the first treatment. It should be necessary for you to supply your medical and dental history, if any, in order for us to be able to come up a personalized treatment plan specifically designed for your needs. Patients that require dental treatment are always given a written estimate of services that are recommended. We want our patients understand what needs to be done and what the costs will be.
Comprehensive Patient Care
At Dental First, we recommend a thorough comprehensive exam for all new patients. Even if you are interested in "just a cleaning" or "just composite filling" we still strongly suggest a preliminary exam to make sure we don't miss anything important.
Appointment System
To provide our patients a timely and efficient treatment, we strongly encourage arranging an appointment with our office prior to your visit, except for emergency cases. Your convenience is our utmost consideration. Thus, visiting our office without an appointment may have you experienced inconvenience of long waiting.
If the need to cancel a scheduled appointment arises, we request at least 24 hours notification.
Relaxing Atmosphere
If you are an adult patient coming in for dental care, and you have a child, please arrange for care of your child offsite. This is necessary for the following reasons: 1) during dental treatment, the dentist and assistant can naturally be distracted by an uneasy child. Interruptions of dentist and staff can have a negative impact on treatment outcome. 2) Our reception area is not a licensed day-care provider. Staff members unfortunately do not have time to entertain children. We do not wish to be held liable for the supervision of your children. 3) To provide a more tranquil, relaxing atmosphere for other patients.
